FLEX Series 4K60 HDBaseT CAT Receiver
KanexPro FLEX-CATRX 4K60 4:4:4 HDBaseT receiver with Power over Cable for FLEX modular matrix systems. Extends 4K up to 165ft — no remote power required.
Eliminates power runs to every display endpoint in your FLEX matrix installation. The KanexPro FLEX-CATRX is a Power-over-Cable HDBaseT receiver that extends 4K60 4:4:4 video up to 165 feet (50m) over a single CAT cable — with no external power supply required at the display side. Designed as the companion receiver for the FLEX-CAT12OUT output card, it delivers full 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 signal quality to remote displays throughout bars, restaurants, and hospitality venues. Supporting HDCP 2.2, HDR, and 10/12-bit deep color, the FLEX-CATRX maintains signal integrity across the full FLEX chassis family — from the 8x10 up to the 24x60 configuration. Each FLEX-CAT12OUT card drives up to 12 receivers, and the chassis accepts up to 5 output cards, scaling the system to 60 endpoints without additional power infrastructure at the display side. 1080p content extends to 197 feet (60m), covering even large venue floor plans.

Questions
- Does the FLEX-CATRX support 4K60 4:4:4?
- Yes. Native 4K60 4:4:4 at 8-bit over a single CAT cable, no compression.
- What HDCP version is supported?
- HDCP 1.x and 2.2.
- What cable type is required?
- CAT5e/CAT6 for 1080p (197ft). CAT6/CAT6a recommended for 4K60 (165ft). Shielded preferred in high-EMI.
- Can I mix HDMI and CAT output cards?
- Yes. FLEX-HDMI12OUT, FLEX-CAT12OUT, and FLEX-DP12OUT in any combination, up to 5 cards.
- Needs separate power supply?
- No. Powered via PoC through CAT cable from FLEX-CAT12OUT. No adapter or outlet needed.
- How many receivers per card?
- 12 per FLEX-CAT12OUT. Up to 5 cards per chassis = 60 endpoints max.
- No video output — what to check?
- Verify CAT cable connections, confirm FLEX-CAT12OUT card is seated, check source output is active.
- Video degraded over long runs?
- Use CAT6/CAT6a for 4K60. Verify cable under 165ft (4K) or 197ft (1080p). Replace damaged cable.
- Maximum system scale?
- FLEX-MF24X60: 24 inputs, 60 outputs. Highest output density per card at this price point.
- Does the receiver support HDR?
- Yes. HDR pass-through with 8, 10, and 12-bit deep color.
